Welcome our New Incumbent
We are very pleased to announce that after nearly a year searching for a new minister, the Parish of Churchill and Cookstown will welcome the Rev. Dr. Gregory Charles Gilson, Dean from the Diocese of Moosonee and his wife, Valerie. He brings with him years of experience, along with a great sense of humour and enthusiasm. His first Sunday will be October 7th.
We wish to thank our Interim priest-in-charge, Rev. Terry Bennett, who has lead both congregations for the past year as we awaited the final decision. Terry's wonderful sermons and great sense of humour have been such a blessing to all of us and we shall sorely miss him.
Services are at 9:15 a.m. at St. Peter's and 11:15 a.m. at St. John's in Cookstown. Please feel free to attend either service. We are always happy to meet new friends. WE ARE KID FRIENDLY!
