Joint Study of Same Sex Marriage Question
There was some interest shown in a study of the Same Sex Marriage question. Fr. Greg would like to do this joint study on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm through Lent. The location to be decided upon by amount of interest per church. As there is a study booklet to produce it would be helpful to indicate your interest in taking this program. Please sign the sheet available at the back of the church before March 6th so that Fr. Greg can make the booklet up for the first discussion group on March 13th.
Fr. Greg is looking to hold confirmation classes beginning in Lent. If you are interested, or have a 12-100 year old who would like to attend a confirmation program, please contact Fr. Greg at 705-291-0777. Everyone is welcome to sit in on a program. More details on date, time and place TBA.
Weekly Euchre @ St. Peter’s
Wednesday Euchre weekly at St. Peter's @ 1 p.m. Light luncheon will be served. Everyone is welcome. 6254 Yonge St., Churchill. call Jean @ 705-458-9795 for info.
Please Take Note
This year we have had quite a few of our parishioners take ill. If you or if you know of any other parishioner that is ill and needs assistance, please call one of the wardens and they will arrange to get the help needed whether that be food, rides or a visit. Because we only see each other on weekends, someone can be away for a few weeks before we can become aware of a need. The phone numbers of Myrlene, Karen and Don are in the 'contacts' tab.
2018 Christmas for Kids
A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered during Christmas for Kids week. This was such a successful year with 145 families being helped this Christmas season. The Executive worked very hard throughout the year to get this campaign up and running, so many people came forward with donations of merchandise and money, schools, churches, businesses and citizens all came together in the spirit of giving. It was such a blessing. A full report will be published after all info has been collected. We wish one and all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
If you want to donate money then please send to:
