Bishop Fenty will be visiting the Parish on Sunday, March 26th @ St. Peter's for 9:15 a.m. service. St. John's congregation will join us there. A light luncheon follows the service.

Mark April 9^th Palm Sunday procession on your calendar this year.  Because Easter is later, the weather will be warmer and the children can wear costumes, they will be handed out the Sunday before (April 2^nd). We will meet at the Churchill Library and process to the church at 9:00 a.m.

Wednesday, April 26^th – Innisfil Prayer Breakfast Please consider joining the local churches in Innisfil for our annual Prayer Breakfast, held in the Community Room of the Stroud Arena.  This event runs from 7:30 – 8:30 am.  Cost $15/person.  For more info please see the flyer on the bulletin board at the back of the church.

Our annual Day of Joy with Amy Dempsey from Pioneer Women is planned for May 13th. The topic is “Invitation to rest” . Because we are encouraging younger women (girls) to come, we will start registration at 9:30 with coffee. Program starts at 10a.m. Cost: $20.00 for adults and $15.00 for students. Everyone is welcome.

June 18th is the final Sunday school date for both churches. Children are most welcome to join us in church and colouring/activity bags are available at the back of the church.

VBS 2017: There will be another VBS at St. Peter's again this summer. It will be held July 10th-14th from 9 am. - noon each day. The theme is HERO CENTRAL: Discover Your Strength in God! Organizers are Carole Pawsey-Ciraco and Marilyn Davies. Games, music, snacks, crafts and stories to share. Lots of fun! Ages 4-12 years. More info will be forthcoming in the weeks to come.

Special vestry meeting Sept. 10th after service at both churches. This is to start the journey for a selection committee to find a new incumbent for the Parish.

St. Peter's will be having a blessing of the animals on Sunday, Oct. 1st on the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. All animals are welcome. Owners will be responsible for their behaviour.

St. Peter's is hosting the Lenten study of Same Sex Marriage with Fr. Greg as the convener. March 13 - April 10th beginning at 7 p.m.

Join St. Peter's on April 14th at the Churchill Library at 9:00 a.m. for the annual Palm Sunday procession to the church for 9:15 a.m. service. Everyone is welcome to join the children as they walk the distance in period costumes. Cheer us on from the sidelines or walk along with us.

Our children from St. Peter's will be visiting the OSPCA on Sunday, April 28th at 11:00 a.m. to tour the facility, pet some animals and deliver some needed supplies. They will be leaving the church right after the service.

Confirmation classes will begin Sunday, May 5th at 2 PM until and including June 2 at St. Peter’s in the parish hall. These classes will be approximately two hours in duration and will be held every other week. Our Diocesan Bishop, Bishop Andrew will be at St. Peter’s on June 16th and will preside over a Joint celebration of Confirmation and Eucharist at St. Peter’s Church. Please mark this important date in the life of our young people and the Parish.

All meetings take place in the St. Peter's parish hall unless otherwise stated. Starts at noon each Thursday and usually ends by 1:30 p.m.  Coordinator is Myrlene Boken. 705-456-6731. Meetings  are held every two weeks onward until June  unless otherwise indicated. Please bring your lunch.

St. Peter's hosts Diocesan Bishop, Andrew Asbil on June 16th at 9:15 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. This is the first time in 15 years that a Diocesan Bishop has visited the parish in 15 years.
